Broadband Multilayer Antireflection Coatings
Broadband Multilayer Antireflection Coatings markedly improve the transmission efficiency of any lens, prism, beam-splitter, or window. By reducing surface reflections over a wide wavelength range, broadband antireflection coatings improve transmission and enhance contrast. Newport has designed a series of durable multilayer coatings for nearly every application in the 245–1550 nm range. Coatings perform effectively for multiple wavelengths and tunable lasers, thereby eliminating the need for several sets of optics. Most Newport lenses are available from stock with AR.10, AR.14, AR.16, and AR.18 antireflection coatings.
