High-Performance Zerodur Metallic Mirrors

The 60Z40AL.2 Broadband UV Enhanced Aluminum Mirror is an excellent general purpose, broadband reflector. This 152.4 mm (6.0 inch) diameter mirror is made from a 23.5 mm thick Zerodur substrate. Zerodur, a glass-ceramic material, exhibits nominally zero thermal expansion which provides extra stability for applications requiring diffraction limited performance. The AL.2 UV enhanced aluminum coating is a durable, broadband UV reflector with average reflectivity greater than 90% from 250-600 nm. The AL.2 aluminum coating contains a durable dielectric overcoat to prevent oxidation of the metal. This mirror has a λ/20 surface flatness and a 10-5 surface quality.
