Deuterium Lamp, 30W, High Irradiance & Stability, 0.5 mm Arc, Ozone Free

The 63165 is a 30 Watt deuterium lamp which produces high intensity ultraviolet (UV) radiation over the full spectrum from 185 to 400 nm. Arc size is 0.5 mm diameter. Emissions in the visible and infrared are negligible. This lamp is designed to mount inside the 60000 Q series lamp housing and operate at 300 mA using the 68942 power supply. Lamp life average 2500 hours. Deuterium lamps are an ideal light source for UV spectroscopy. Ultraviolet radiation, which is not visible to humans, is known to cause both short- and long-term damage to the eyes and skin.
