Fixed Slit Holder, Monochromators and Spectrographs

The 77294 Fixed Slit Holder may be mounted to the input port of an Oriel^® Spectrograph, or at the input and output ports of many Oriel Monochromators. Using fixed slits is the most economical choice when a single, non-adjustable height and width are required. Fixed slits should also be considered when a few select sizes are required, as they provide excellent repeatability. A number of fixed slit models are available in various sizes (ordered separately). When ordering fixed slits, the input and output slits should be of the same size. Monochromators and Spectrographs require fixed slits to be installed into the 77294 prior to operation.

This assembly is compatible with the following product families:

• Legacy Cornerstone 130 1/8m monochromator series
• Redesigned Cornerstone 130B 1/8m monochromator series
• Legacy Cornerstone 260 1/4m monochromator series
• MS260i 1/4m spectrograph series
• MS125 1/8m spectrograph

Note: fixed slits are ordered separately. They should be the same size at the instrument's input and output ports.
