The 919P-030-17HD thermal power/energy laser measurement sensor features a high damage threshold for both power and energy. It has a 17 mm aperture and can measure from 0.1 to 30 W continuously and to 150 W intermittently. It can measure energy from 50 mJ to 300 J. Its SV absorber type has a damage threshold of 1 J/cm² and 60 kW/cm² for repetitive pulses and covers the 190 to 11 µm wavelength range. The sensor comes with a standard 1.5 meter cable for connecting to a meter and a 2.25 inch long 1/2 inch diameter post with a 1/4-20 tapped hole on both ends.
The 919P-030-17HD uses the SV premium absorber. It is designed for use with high repetition lasers (>10 kHz) with ultra-short pulses of ns and ps, for which there are more damage threshold mechanisms in addition to the thermal effects and the sensor can be damaged due to ablation of the surface after long use.
