Retractable Fiber Scribe, Pen Shaped Housing

The F-RFS Fiber Scribe features a high quality 90° wedge shaped diamond tip, mounted on a stainless steel, retractable rod. This scribe is used primarily for removing optical fiber tips protruding from fiber optic connectors, prior to polishing the connector’s end face. The pen-like protective housing includes a clip for easy storage in your shirt pocket. Fiber Scribes are low cost fiber cleaving tools. A cleave is obtained by the scribe-and-pull method.
