WDM and EDFA Tap CouplersThe F-WDM-S98158 Single Mode Wavelength Division Multiplexer uses fused fiber technology. This 1 x 2 WDM is used to separate or combine optical signals at the 980 ±10 nm and 1585 ±10 nm operating wavelengths allowing for bidirectional communications on a single fiber. WDMs offer high isolation between the two wavelengths with low excess loss. This version has bare fiber pigtails.
