Laser Diode Module, 1550 nm, 5 mW, Digital, Elliptical Beam
The LQD1550-05E Laser Diode Module with Digital Modulation is a self-contained LD module with superior optical quality, a very high precision current source and a PID temperature controller, built in the module. This Fabry-Perot (FP) 1550 nm typical Laser Diode Module with a 5 mW elliptical beam comes in a self contained module. LQD Series Laser Diode Modules can be TTL modulated up to 100 MHz. To modulate the LQD Series from below-threshold to full power requires a user-supplied external 0-5 V TTL modulation signal (0 V yields full power). Download the user's manual for complete operating instructions. The modulation sources must be provided by the user. LQA-CAB cable is recommended for modulation interface between the modulation source and the diode laser module. This module requires a 5 VDC external power supply. A LPMS-5 Series Power Supply (not included) must be used with this LD module to meet CDRH requirements by providing an interlock input, key enable switch, delayed start-up, and laser active indicator. Warranty is not applicable when a custom power supply is used to drive the module. Specifications
