Quick Disconnect Peg Post AdaptersThe M-PS-1P Peg Adaptor post includes Newport's Patented Precision Peg and allows any of the M-PS-T posts to be precisely installed and removed without changing its location in your optical setup. The Peg Adaptor can also be used with standard Post Holders like the VPH and SPH series but is particularly useful when used with optical breadboards. In use, the peg is threaded into the mating part (e.g., a PS-T post, a VPH Post holder or a SA2 breadboard) and the adaptor is threaded to an optical table or another PS-T post. The peg precisely slides into the PS-1P adaptor and is locked in place with the two set screws. The curved shape of the Peg allows the setscrews to pull the two parts together to create a solid stable connection.
