1.0 in. Forkless Optical PostsThe PX-2 Forkless Optical Post has a unique internal slotted base allowing it to be directly mounted to an optical table without a clamping fork. The 0.63 in. long slot provides flexibility in positioning the post before securing it to one of the optical table's holes. This patent-pending feature saves 3X the space of a standard pedestal while still providing positional flexibility and long-term stability. This 1.0 in. diameter stainless steel post has a 2.0 in. height. Each post is marked with an index groove every 1.0 in. for a quick height reference. Cross-drilled holes allow 3/16 in. hex wrenches to aid in tightening and loosening assembled posts.
