Calibration Service, Reference Cell

The STPVCERT certification service prolongs the lifetime of the Oriel 91150V reference cell and meter. Newport recommends an annual certification for this device in order to ensure accuracy with sensitive measurements under an Oriel solar simulator.

We are also proud to house and manage one of the few commercial photovoltaic and calibration test laboratories in the world, accredited by the A2LA to the ISO/IEC 17025 standard, made in accordance with the ASTM E948 and E1021. The Photovoltaic Calibration and Test Laboratory (PV Lab) uses state of the art equipment, including the Oriel Class AAA 8” x 8” Sol3A solar simulator and Oriel quantum efficiency systems, for characterization of IV, IQE, EQE, and active area, traceable to NIST and NREL.
