Specialty Mirror Mount AdaptersThe UPA2-OAP is a versatile adaptor used to provide a mounting interface for Newport's family of Replicated Off-Axis Parabolic Mirrors. It allows mounting in three ways: vertical post mounting, horizontal post mounting, and can be mounted into any positioner that can hold a 2 in. diameter optic. This includes mirror mounts, lens mounts, and rotation mounts. See the related products tab for the exact part numbers. Because the threaded mounting hardware for the Parabolic Mirror is not commonly found most optics labs, we decided to make it an integrated part of the adaptor. This way, it is always with the adaptor and never gets lost. This is especially valuable in metric labs.
