V-Groove Lens Holder, 0.25 to 1.25 in. Diameter Lenses

The VLH-1A Variable Lens Holder can hold optics of almost any shape or configuration in the 0.25 to 1.25 inch diameter range. Optics are automatically registered and held gently, but firmly, between a kinematically designed V-shaped mounting base and a Delrin V-block that is secured into place using a thumbscrew. The VLH can be further fitted to the optic by changing the height of the crossbar, which features a long alignment bore and guide adjustment so it slides smoothly without jamming or wobbling and locks easily into place by turning the side thumbscrews. This mount incorporates a counter bored clearance hole in their base that is compatible with both 8-32 and M4 screws. This allows for easy attachment to English or Metric SP and TSP Series posts, as well as Newport’s PS Series pedestal posts.
