76 mm, Single-rail System with Stiff Box Beam Cross-section Construction
This unique New Focus 3.0 in. (76.2 mm) wide optical rail system uses an enhanced box-beam cross section to reduce weight to 10 oz./ft. (1.8 kg/m) without sacrificing stiffness. Rails are available with either 12.0 in (305 mm) or 24.0 in (610 mm) length.
English and Metric Linear Scales
Both Metric and English rulings are printed clearly on each optical rail. This helps to speed-up optical system set-ups.
Single-handed Quick-release Carriers
Carriers are available in three style, each of which have a spring-loaded lever for one-handed lock and release. An 8-32 (M4) screw locks the carriers in place once aligned. Models 9741 and 9743-M are each 1 in. (25.4 mm) long with one threaded and once counterbored hole, 1/4-20 and M4 sized, respectively. Model 9742-M has an array of M4 and M6 threaded and counter bored holes and is 3.0 in (76.2 mm) long.
Optical Table Clamp Mounting
These quick-release optical rails attach to the optical table with table clamps, allowing virtually any position or orientation.
