Stainless steel hex nuts and flat washers are available for a variety of standard threads. Adapter washers quickly allow 8-32 (M4) cap screws to be used with 1/4-20 (M6) counterbored holes.

Features
Use 8-32 or M4 Threads in Oversized Clearance Holes
Stainless-steel adaptor washers quickly make 1/4-20 or M6 clearance holes compatible with 8-32 or M4 screws that would otherwise pass through. The outer diameter of these washers have similar dimensions to most 1/4-20 and M6 screw heads, while the inner diameter supports the smaller 8-32 and M4 screws. Each washer is 0.6 in. (1.5 mm) and are sold in packages of 10 or 25.
