Quartz Tungsten Halogen Lamp, 250 W, Long Lifetime

The 6335 Quartz Tungsten Halogen (QTH) is a special, long lifetime type QTH lamp. Whereas QTH lamps typically have an operating lifetime on the order of tens of hours, the 6335 has a typical lifetime of 300 hours (with a longer expected lifetime if operated at lower compliance voltages). This 250 W QTH lamp emits minimal ultraviolet light emission and high intensity visible and infrared light emission, without the typical spectral peaks of an arc lamp. This smooth spectral output makes QTH lamps the preferred choice for spectroscopy applications such as spectral sensitivity characterization of photoconductive and photovoltaic materials.

When using this light source in a Research Lamp Housing, socket adapter 60043 is required for proper installation.
