The 63965 is an open air lamp mount designed for the 63362 and 63350 1000 W QTH source lamps. Open air mounts are a cheaper alternative to lamp housings with the benefits of allowing the lamp to be mounted closer to the desired area of illumination, mounted in horizontal and vertical orientations, and can be used to create a variety of focused and collimated options by configuring lens setups in front of the mount. Users interested in a complete open air QTH lamp setup should see the 63978-1000Q-OA and 63978-1000QC-OA preconfigured sources.

The lamp base mount has a 1/4-20 tapped hole for ease of securing an optical rod.
