The 8302 Picomotor Piezo Linear Actuator is an ideal device for motorizing fine-positioning stages and mounts in your optical or mechanical systems. Use it with our optomechanical translation stages or your own custom devices. It has better than 30 nm resolution with minimal backlash over a 1 inch (25.4 mm) travel range, and can exert a 5 lb. (22-N) force. The standard 0.375 in (9.5 mm) shank of the Model 8302 lets it fit into standard micrometer mounting holes.
