The 843-DIN 8-pin DIN to DB15 adapter for is legacy 818-xx/CM Series, 818-IS-1, and 818-F-xx Series detectors to interface with Newport's power meters with a DB15 connector interface, except for obsolete model 841-PE.

Warning for 840-C and 1830-C Power Meter users: due to the EEPROM data format incompatibility, do not use this adapter to interchangeably use with the 1919-R, 843-R Series, and 844-PE-USB power meters.  Instead, please order 818-SCAL-OPT to obtain a DB15 calibration module programmed for the new power meter models.

Also note that the legacy 841-DIN is not compatible with 1919-R, 843-R series, and 844-PE-USB power meters.
