Piezo Optical Mount, Compact, 0.5 in. Optics, Vacuum Compatible

The AG-M050NV6 0.5 inch (12.7 mm) Vacuum Compatible Agilis™ Optical Mount features Newport’s new, proprietary, non-resonant piezo direct motors. These highly integrated motors are directly coupled to the moving platen. When idle, spring forces lock the mirror’s position for true set and forget long term stability. Agilis mounts have a faster adjustment speed than alternative screw driven designs. In contrast to ultrasonic motors, the Agilis non-resonant motor concept makes small adjustments more predictable with its 50 nm incremental motion capability, ideal for ultra-sensitive optical alignments. Due to the various feed-through configurations and preferences of customers, the connector supplied with the mount is not vacuum compatible. Use with either the Agilis AG-UC2 handheld, AG-UC8 or AG-UC8PC controllers.
