Pyroelectric Detector, Lithium Tantalate, 2 mm, FET Amplifier, 0.45-9 µm

The DET-L-PYC5-R-P detector for LIDA™ houses a lithium tantalate pyroelectric detector with an integrated FET amplifier and signal processing circuitry. Typical pyroelectric detectors have an output which decreases with increasing chopping frequency. The signal processing circuitry following the low noise FET amplifier integrated into the sealed detector can housing compensates for this effect and produces a uniform output signal over chopper frequencies ranging from 8-1100 Hz. The DET-L-PYC5-R-P’s CaF2 window allows for sensitivity from 0.45-9 μm. The unique, flat shape of this detector’s spectral response curve only requires the detector to be calibrated at a single wavelength. This 2 mm diameter active area pyroelectric detector has its sensitivity adjusted to 1000 V/W over this sensitivity region.
This flange mounted sensor provides a BNC connector for signal output. The 1.5 inch female flange simplifies the integration to one of our many Oriel light sources and monochromators.
