Optical Post, 4.0 in. Height, 1.5 in. Diameter, 1/4-20 Thread

For use with the SR-SC sliding clamp, the SR-4P is a special purpose extension rod. It features a “V” groove running axially down the length of the rod and includes Newport’s patented peg fastener. The “V” groove allows the SR-SC sliding clamp with its spring-loaded ball detent to ride linearly along the SR-4P’s preventing unintentional rotation during height adjustment. The peg fastener allows two SR-4P to be combined and then aligned for extended travel, owing to the fact that the alignment cannot be accomplished with a standard threaded set screw.
