Motion Controller Card, Universal, Stepper, DC, and Linear Motors

The XPS-DRV11 is a software configurable universal digital driver card that has been optimized to perform with the most Newport’s and other companies’ DC brush, Linear and Stepper motor positioners. The XPS-DRV11 can supply PWM output of up to 100 kHz with a maximum output current of 6 A @ 47 V for brushed and linear motors, and 3 Amps per phase @ 47 V for stepper motors. The XPS-DRV11 is capable to drive bipolar stepper in microstepping mode and perform an emergency stop when an error occurs. Motor initialization is accomplished through a proprietary and patented method that results in insignificant stage motion, without the need for hall effect or other sensors.
ESP Plug-and-Play Compatibility
When an ESP-compatible stage is connected to the XPS, the stage is quickly recognized and operating parameters are configured without the need for user inputs. This Plug and Play feature is not only transparent to the user, but it also ensures the safe operation of the stage.
