Light Pipe Homogenizer
A light pipe, sometimes called an integrator rod or waveguide, provides highly uniform or homogenized illumination. Light pipes can be used as homogenizers in illumination systems for microscopes, inspection systems and video metrology systems.

Features
Total Internal Reflection
Through the process of total internal reflection, a light pipe can transform the output of a very non-uniform light source into highly uniform or homogenized illumination. For maximum homogenization efficiency, our light pipes feature square cross sections and very sharp edges with minimal bevel.
Light Pipe Collets for Safety
Our light pipe holder (collet) makes contact with the light pipe only at the edges and completely covers the sharp edges for safety. When installed in our clamp mount, it can be easily rotated.
Complete Homogenizer Assembly
A complete light pipe homogenizer assembly can be built with a light pipe, collet and mount. Choose a light pipe and collet with the same length. A 6 inch homogenizer assembly is shown using the LPH-PIP-6, LPH-COL-6, and LPH-MOUNT.
