Flange Mounted Manual Iris Diaphragms
Manually operated iris diaphragms are an inexpensive and excellent option for light attenuation and can act as lens aperture stops as well. They are easily operated by the manual lever at the top of the diaphragm. These irises provide adjustable apertures, as small as 1 mm or as large as 36 mm, and have a standard 1.5 Inch Series flange for simple integration into Oriel® lamp housings or detectors. If rod mounting is preferred, a 1/4-20 tapped hole is located on the bottom.

Wide Range of Possible Aperture Sizes
The Flange Mounted Manual Iris Diaphragms feature an easy-to-grip housing and provide continuously variable apertures for a multitude of optical applications, such as beam alignment, light attenuation, or as baffles to block spurious reflections and scattered light. Two models are available with aperture size ranges 2.0mm to 36 mm and 1 mm to 25 mm. Irises have a 1/4-20 threaded hole on the bottom for rod mounting.
