Beam aperture discs, or large area pinholes, are an inexpensive, simple solution for limiting the angular aperture at the input of a Monochromator or detector, or attenuating light. These beam aperture discs are made of aluminum and can be placed into any optic holder compatible with 1.0 inch diameter optics.

Features
Four Different Aperture Sizes Offered
All beam aperture disks are 1.0 inch outside diameter for compatibility with 1.0 in optic mounts. They are offered with a fixed 0.04, 0.1, 0.2 or 0.4 inch aperture. These are effectively large area pinholes for incoherent light sources such as Xenon lamps used in Oriel® Research Arc Lamp or Q Series Lamp Housings.
