Flange Mounted Holders and Cells make an easy task of mounting optical accessories such as filters to the input or output flange of an Oriel® light source, Monochromator, Spectrograph, or other flanged component. The right flange mounted holder or cell and if necessary Flange Coupler or Adapter can meet any optical accessory mounting needs.

Light Tight Flange Mounted Cells Offered In Set Screw and Quick Connect Types
Flange Mounted Cells provide a light tight optical accessory mounting solution. Each cell has a 1.5 inch male and female flange and a 1/4-20 mounting hole (for mounting with an Optical Rod) for simple installation and integration into an existing setup. These cells hold 1 inch (25.4 mm) diameter optics up to 0.38 (9.5 mm) thick, and provide a clear aperture of 0.8 inch (20 mm) diameter. Choose the 71306 Quick Connect type if a convenient solution is required for a setup that is frequently assembled and disassembled. Choose the 7123 Set Screw type if a more economical solution is preferred.
Flanged Lens Holders
Flanged Lens Holders provide a simple optical accessory mounting solution. Each lens holder couples to a flanged component via three set screws and has a 1/4-20 threaded hole in its housing for mounting with an Optical Rod. Three different sizes of Flanged Lens Holders are available:
- 6195 : has 1.5 inch male and female flanges, holds 1.5 inch (38.1 mm) diameter and 0.43 inch (11 mm) thick optics, 1.4 inch (35 mm) clear aperture
- 6222 : has 2 inch male and female flanges, holds 2 inch (50.8 mm) diameter optics, 1.8 inch (46 mm) clear aperture
- 6237 : has 3 inch male and female flanges, holds 3 inch (76.2 mm) diameter optics, 2.7 inch (69 mm) clear aperture
