These irises provide continuously adjustable apertures, as small as 5 mm or as large as 73 mm, for a variety of common optics applications such a beam alignment and attenuation. Both models available have multiple spring-steel leaves to provide a circular opening and mount directly to optical posts and pillars.
- Two ranges of aperture sizes provide 5 to 73 mm iris openings
- 18 overlapping spring-steel leaves form a round aperture
- Smooth, continuous aperture control

Wide Range of Possible Aperture Sizes
M-DI47 Series Iris Diaphragms mount directly to Metric optical posts and pillars with the M4 threaded stud (rubber cover needs to be removed). They feature an easy-to-grip housing for aperture actuation and provide continuously variable apertures for a multitude of optical applications, such as beam alignment, light attenuation, or as baffles to block spurious reflections and scattered light. Two models are available with aperture size ranges 5.0 mm to 49 mm and 7.0 mm to 73 mm.
