LabLegs™ SL Series closed pneumatic vibration isolators offer vibration isolation at a very affordable price when automatic re-leveling is not required. The isolators remove floor vibrations in the 10 Hz to 50 Hz range and support a wide variety of less rigorous research and production applications.

Pneumatic Isolation Solution at a Very Affordable Price
LabLegs™ SL isolators feature Newport's SLM Series Air Isolation Mounts with different load capacity options mounted on a robust cylinder frame. To be more specific, SL-600 and SL-1200 series incorporate SLM-6A and SLM-12A, respectively. The rigid wall design of the air mount provides better isolation than traditional air bladder design, delivering 96% isolation (vertical) and 98% isolation (horizontal) at 10 Hz for SL-1200 at full load. Once filled with air they are virtually maintenance free.
Tie-Bar Flange Option
SL pneumatic vibration isolators are available with tie-bar flanges at the base. The tie-bar flange is compatible with our optical table tie-bar systems. Optical table support tie-bars increase the stability of your optical table. They are available in kits for various standard size optical tables with and without casters for moving the table system. We also offer complete optical table and support systems that include the optical table, isolators, and support frames that incorporate tie-bars between the isolators.
Modular Support Base
Our SL and RL optical table supports are built on modular support bases. Interchangeable spacer bases of different heights allow convenient cost-effective adjustment of working surface height or retrofitting of caster systems. Simply order new LLS series support bases to change your isolator to a new height. For example, if you currently have 16 in. legs and would like to increase your leg height to 23.5 in., you would order four LLS-23.5 to change four legs to 23.5 in. leg height. Leg spacers for height adjustment are only compatible with 13.5 inch or taller SL or RL support legs.
