Our Ultrashort Pulse Beamsplitters are designed to split or combine laser light in the 700 to 950 nm range. Split ratio is 50/50 R/T for S-polarized light at 45 degrees incidence. Both the front beamsplitting surface and back AR-coated surface feature low GVD coatings to minimize pulse dispersion.
- Minimum reflected and transmitted pulse dispersion
- Wide bandwidth of 700-950 or 680-1080 nm
- Equal 50/50 (R/T) beam split for S or P polarization
- Low wavefront distortion See All Features

Thin UV Fused Silica Substrate
Our ultrashort pulse beamsplitters are designed to minimize pulse dispersion and maximize bandwidth for beam sampling and autocorrelation measurements of ultrafast laser pulses. A thin UV grade fused silica substrate with specially designed coating and λ/10 wavefront distortion yields minimized GDD upon reflection and transmission.
S-Polarized Beamsplitters
The UB.2 beamsplitters are used to evenly divide S polarized light at 45° angle of incidence from 700–950 nm, ideal for output from the Spectra Physics Tsunami® Ultrafast lasers. The back surface has an antireflection coating to minimize surface reflection losses and eliminate ghost images.
