Height-Adjustable Rotary StageThe 488 Height-Adjustable Rotary Stage provides a large mounting platform, lockable motion, and a novel mechanical design that virtually eliminates all backlash and provides a rock-solid, wobble-free mount at any height. A scalloped adjustment ring provides non-rotating vertical travel over 1 inch (25.4 mm) with 0.01 mm graduations. A recessed locking screw securely fixes the mount at the desired height to prevent inadvertent adjustments. The lockable, rotating platform has a knurled rim for coarse adjustment with graduations every 2°. The mounting platform offers a generous array of mounting holes for attaching other components. In addition, prisms and beamsplitter cubes up to 2 inch (50.8 mm) high can be easily and securely held by the removable clamps that thread into the top of the platform.
