Vacuum Waveguide Mount, 561 Series

The 561-VH Vacuum Waveguide Mount has eight vacuum ports on its top surface to mount small to large devices to a 561 Series stage. A brass fitting is located on the side of the 561-VH to adapt a 1/8th-inch ID flexible tube for use with a vacuum pump (user-supplied), leading to the interior air chamber of the mount which is accessible by the vacuum ports. Each of the eight vacuum ports has a nylon tip set screw pre-inserted and can be opened or closed individually depending on the size and shape of the device. To open a port, remove the screw in the port – in this manner, suction is possible for a device connected to the open port. For other ports that are not covered by the device, they must be closed/sealed by tightening the screw to prevent leakage.
