Infrared Emitter, 140 Watt

The 6363 is a powerful 140 watt infrared (IR) emitter for use with Oriel's Q Series and Research Series lamp housings. Its shape and mounting position allow the emitter to line up well with a monochromator's input slit. Unlike some other types of light sources which emit IR radiation, the 6363 is a convenient and economical design with sufficient radiant output and spectral uniformity to be of practical use in IR instrumentation applications. Install the emitter into the lamp housing using the 60041 Socket Adapter, ordered separately.
