IR Sources for FT-IR Spectrometer ScannersMany sources emit infrared radiation to some degree, but only a few combine convenience and economy with sufficient radiant output and spectral uniformity to be practical in IR instrumentation. The 80030 is a replacement IR emitter for the 80007 silicon carbide light source. The emitter is 3.8 x 12.7 mm with an actual radiating area of approximately 3.8 x 5 mm.
