Optical Power Detector, Germanium, Unamplified, Calibrated

The 71653 Calibrated Germanium Photodetector is operated in photovoltaic mode for best DC and low frequency performance. This 5 mm diameter Germanium detector has a broad spectral range from 700 to1800 nm, which enables spectroradiometric measurements to be made. This detector has been integrated into our 1.5 Inch Series female flanged housing.

An external amplifier, such as model 70710, is recommended when acquiring low light signals.
