Low Noise Current to Voltage Preamplifier

The 70710 Current Preamplifier is a low noise current to voltage amplifier designed for photomultiplier tubes or photodiodes operating in photovoltaic mode, such as unamplified detector models 71650 and 71653.

For power, use the provided power cable to connect to an external power supply for the necessary +/- 15 VDC. This can be accomplised with the Oriel Laboratory Power Supply models 70703 or 70709.

For voltage signal, use BNC cable model 70018 to interface from the output of this pre-amplifier to a Newport Power Meter or LIDA-SRS-KIT.
