Calibration Module, Spare, Photodiode Sensors, DB15

Order 818-SCAL for the following cases: a spare /DB calibration module is needed, for 818 series photodiode detectors, without recalibration of the detector, upgrade 818-XX to 818-XX/DB, or 818-XX/CM to 818-XX/DB or when the calibration module is lost or broken.

• To upgrade 818-XX to 818-XX/DB, or 818-XX/CM to 818-XX/DB following will be required:

o Module should be ordered, and sensor sent for calibration.

• For a replacement or spare /DB module, the order requires the following information (at the time of order), to be able to identify the correct calibration file:

o Order for the module and the serial number of the sensor.

o Prior to placing the order check with a Newport calibration center if the calibration data is available.

 If not, the sensor should be sent for re-calibration.

We recommend that optical power meters and detectors be calibrated every 12 months. It should be noted that Newport cannot assure NIST for modules which were not sent for re-calibration.
