Kinematic Breadboard AdaptorsThe AKP-TA is the adjustable kinematic adaptor plate included with the AKP-AJ set of Kinematic Breadboard Adaptors. These adaptor plates include a 100-TPI adjustment screw to provide fine angular adjustment and height of the breadboard. The adjustment screws have position locks to preserve final alignment. (Note the adjustment screw lock does not lock the breadboard to the bases as do the AKP-FX Fixed Kinematic Breadboard Adaptors). Used with the AKP-BC “Cone”, AKP-BV “V”, and AKP-BF “Flat” these components can be used to create highly stable and repeatable kinematic mechanisms such as custom kinematic bases or mounts in the Cone-V-Flat configuration.
