Telecoms Polarization Maintaining FibersThe F-HB1250T-245 Bow-tie Polarization Maintaining Fiber is a polarization preserving fiber specifically made to be compatible with standard telecom fibers and PANDA™ PM fibers. Splicing these fibers to PANDA™ fibers routinely results in a splicing loss of <0.2 dB and an excellent extinction ratio of -32 dB. This PM fiber is designed for 1300 - 1480 nm operation. It has a 125 μm cladding, 245 μm coating, a 9.0 μm Mode Field Diameter, and a 0.11 to 0.13 NA.
This bare fiber does not include a protective fiber jacket. Standard pricing is per meter. The following volume discount schedule is applied when ordering continuous lengths of optical fiber: 10 - 49 m: 15%, 50 - 99 m: 22%, 100 - 499 m: 25%, and ≥ 500 m: 28%.
