Optical Post, 101.6 mm Height, 38.1 mm Diameter, M6 Thread

The M-SR-4P Pedestal Pillar Extension Rod is specially designed for use with the M-SR-SC sliding clamp. It features a "V" groove running axially down the length of the rod and includes Newport’s patented peg fastener. The "V" groove allows the M-SR-SC sliding clamp with its spring-loaded ball detent to ride linearly along the M-SR-4P’s preventing unintentional rotation during height adjustment. The peg fastener allows two M-SR-4P to be combined and then aligned for extended travel, owing to the fact that the alignment cannot be accomplished with a standard threaded set screw.
