Tablet Computer MountsNewport welcomes tablet computing into the optics lab by providing the fully adjustable, space-saving tablet mount, M-TDM-L. With its spring loaded tray, it is perfectly suited for mounting the most popular tablet computers including iPads, TouchPads, Galaxy Tabs and more. Any tablet measuring (mm), 216 to 272 high, less than 195 wide and under14 thick will fit. This mounting versatility means that it will also hold tablets with covers installed so you won't have to remove them. It mounts to any optical table or breadboard having M6 threaded holes and, with its dual ball-and-socket arm, can be easily positioned in any orientation including portrait or landscape. A simple knob twist locks it securely in place. The TDM-L also has access features which allow use of the camera for recording video, taking photos or remote observation via Skype or FaceTime.
