TRB Compact Motorized Actuators
TRB linear actuators offer mid-range load capacity with a wide range of travel and motor choices. They can easily motorize manual positioners and mirror mounts with flexible cable routing and a non-reflective surface coating.

Compatible Controllers
Compatible motion controllers for the TRB actuators are:
- XPS-RLD Motion Controller (2 or 4 Axis): Requires an XPS-DRV01* Driver Module.
- XPS-D Motion Controller (2, 4, 6 or 8 Axis): Requires an XPS-DRV01 Driver Module.
- ESP302 Motion Controller (1, 2, or 3 Axis): Plug and Play compatible with ESP302** Motion Controller.
The TRB-CC actuators are also compatible with SMC100CC Single Axis Motion Controller, and the TRB-PP actuators are compatible with SMC100PP** Single Axis Motion Controller .
* When used with XPS-RLD, plug XPS-DRV01 to slots other than slot 1.
** When used with ESP302 or SMC100PP, the maximum speed of TRB-PP is reduced to 0.12 mm/s.

Slim/Lightweight Design
CONEX Controller Versions
Newport also offers versions of the DC servo motor linear actuators with integrated CONEX motion controller. For out-of-the box control, the CONEX controller is preconfigured and delivered with the TRB-CC actuator.
Replace Manual Actuators on Stages and Mounts
TRB actuators work great as replacements for adjustment screws or micrometers on manual stages and optical mounts. For more details refer to the TRA and TRB Series Compatibility guide. Once upgraded, the set-up can be automated for hands-free positioning or controlled remotely.

Flexible Cable Routing
The cable outlet of TRB actuators is located on the side, which provides more flexibility for cable routing and cable management. This also reduces the overall length of the actuator compared to actuators with a rear cable outlet.
