Stictionless, Continuous Motion in a Compact Stage
The 466A Series XYZ Flexure Stage is developed directly from the original flexure design, patented by Martock Design (now a subsidiary of Elliot Scientific). Flexure stages do not rely on bearing a mechanism and have the advantage of providing stictionless motion which makes them ideal for high precision device manipulation. The innate arcuate displacement (vertical displacement due to longitudinal flexure motion) is up to 4 times better than competing products, with a maximum of 20 µm at full displacement in the x axis. For the Y and Z axes, this value is 14 µm.
Compatible With Manual and Motorized Actuators
Each axis of the 466A Series Flexure Stage is compatible with a number of both manual and motorized actuators for positioning control, providing customization for individual resolution or cost requirements. The most frequently selected manual actuator for this stage is the DS-4F due to its exceptionally precise sub-micron sensitivity. The TRA6CC or TRA6PPD are the recommended motorized actuators for these stages. Please note that actuators are not included with these stages.
Specially Designed Accessories Mount Securely with Guiding Grooves
The mounting surface of this alignment stage features an array of 6-32 (M3) threaded holes and orthogonal, bisecting grooves which guide a wide variety of specially designed flexure alignment stage accessories for precise and secure mounting.
