Much more efficient and effective than using retaining rings for spacing lenses, the lens tube spacers and washers are ideally suited for making fixed multi-element lens assemblies like collimators and beam expanders. Shown are 1in. and 2-in. lenses with lens tube spacers prior to being installed into a lens tube.

Be prepared with an organized kit of lens tube spacers.  The LT10-SP-KT kit includes various spacer rings sized to fit into LT10 and LH-1A 1-in. lens mounts.  The spacers included in the kit range from 0.5 to 25 mm thick and have a thin-wall design to maintain a 90% clear aperture. Note that the 0.5-mm thick spacers are made from black Delrin (acetal plastic) and can also be used as protective washers.  The contents of the kit is as follows: 6 ea. of the following spacer: 1-, 2-, 4-, 8-, 10-, and 25-mm thick spacer rings. 20 ea. 0.5-mm thick Delrin spacers. 6 ea. 1-in. threaded retaining rings and one spanner wrench.
