Fine Position Devices Mounted on Optical Pedestals
Threaded 8-32 or M4 holes on the top and bottom let you mount these tiny lab jacks directly to a post or pedestal. A single setscrew locks each jack solidly. In the example shown, a free space optical receiver is positioned vertically for beam alignment.
Precision Vertical Travel
Tiny lab jacks offer 3.2 mm of vertical travel with a resolution of 0.03 mm. They can support a 4.4 N load capacity. The upper platform doesn't rotate during height adjustment.
