Magnetic Base for Fast and Easy Rough Alignment
The base of the swivel base incorporates a ring magnet, which allows for rough alignment prior to securing the slotted swivel base to an optical table or breadboard.
Swivelling Slot for Easy Mounting Hole Alignment
The swivelling slot in the base allows for easy and fast alignment to the closest hole on an optical table or optical breadboard. Simply swivel the base until you find a hole below the slot to mount the base to. The stiff stainless steel base provides superior stability to all aluminum designs.
Add a Swivel Base to VPH Post Holders
The model APHB swivel base features a through-hole providing the ability to add a swivelling base feature (with magnet) to our standard VPH post holders. Please note this design does not allow maximum height adjustment as the post cannot pass through to the table.
Add a Swivel Base to a Mirror Mount
The APHB-T swivel base adaptor is tapped with either 8-32 and 1/4-20 holes (M-APHB-T features M4 and M6 holes) to provide for direct mounting of mirror mounts. The swivel base provides a low and stable base for mirror mounts with the ability to quickly attach the mirror mount anywhere on an optical table or optical breadboard.
