XY Linear Stage, ULTRAlign, 13 mm, Crossed-Roller, 8-32 & 1/4-20

The 461-XY-M ULTRAlign™ precision integrated crossed-roller bearing linear stage features stainless steel construction for high stability, with thermally matched, hardened steel crossed-roller bearings for unsurpassed performance over the 13 mm XY travel range. Generous 1/4-20 and 8-32 hole patterns provide for easy mounting. Actuators are not included. See the Compatible table below for recommended actuators.

Precision Control and Extra Stiffness

ULTRAlign Stainless Steel Crossed-Roller Translation Stages provide a low profile, yet solid and stable linear translation, that can be locked in place without disturbing translation or position. Perfect for many standard optical applications such as interferometry, linear translation by the crossed-roller bearings and the precision-manufactured bearing reference surfaces provide a maximum angular deviation of <100 µrad for any axis. Z-axis stages do not depend on springs for support, ensuring maximum vertical load capacity. The mounting surface of these stages has multiple threaded holes, available in either English or Metric units, to make mounting easy and versatile in most table-top optical systems.

Preloaded crossed-roller bearings provide repeatable, zero stick-slip linear motion with negligible side-play.

Versatile Stage Configurations

Multiple configurations for these stages are available to match your specific requirements: X, Z, XY, XZ and XYZ. XYZ stage is offered with a choice between left-handed and right-handed. In addition, the mounting base can be removed for an even lower profile. 1.0 in. (25.4 mm) travel version is also available.

Individually Tested to Guarantee <100 µrad Deviation

Each ULTRAlign Stainless Steel Crossed-Roller Translation Stage is tested individually to ensure it meets the <100 µrad angular deviation requirement. We don't just say it, we guarantee it. The actual test results are included with each stage.
