Laser Diode, TO-56 and TO-9 PackageThe TO9-148-161 Laser Diode is a popular Fabry-Perot laser diode with a typical center wavelength of 1595nm ±20nm, with 1.8 Watts CW output power. When operated in pulsed mode has a center wavelength of 1550nm ±20nm (14 watts peak pulsed) in a standard TO-9 package. It is multimode, which allows for high coupling efficiency into optical fibers. With Newport’s industry renowned laser mounts, laser diode drivers, diode temperature controllers you can easily build a reliable and low noise laser system with maximum output power and wavelength flexibility.
