1.5 in. Optical Rod Bases

These bases offer options for mounting optical rods onto optical tables and breadboards. The stainless steel SR-B mounting base is used when non-magnetic pedestal mounting is needed – to extend its height, SR-E extension posts and SRS-S spacers can be connected. The VPB Adjustable Platform is a stiff, low-profile, adjustable base designed for stable mounting of Newport rods and components. It has XY sliding adjustments for complete positioning freedom on any compatible mounting surface.

Features

Pedestal Base Adapter

SR-B pedestal base is available to combine with SR-E extension posts, SR-S spacers, and the SR-ADP mount adapter for multiple height configurations. They together form a non-magnetic version of 1.5’’ optical pedestal.

Translational Base

The VPB adjustable platform is a stiff, low-profile adjustable base designed for stable mounting of Newport rods and components anywhere on our optical tables and breadboards. The internal slider and slotted base together provide 1.0 in. X and Y sliding adjustment range for complete positioning freedom.
