Miniature Optical Mounting Posts
TSP Series 0.31 in. (7.9mm) diameter miniature posts are designed to provide highly stable and versatile mounting of smaller mirror mounts such as our 0.5 in. Suprema or the 987X Series Space-Saving Mounts. The posts are solid steel and feature 2-56 (M2) threads on one end and 8-32 (M4) threads on the opposite end.
- 25% smaller than standard optical posts
- 8-32 (M4) & 2-56 (M2) tapped ends for Suprema or Tiny mounts
- Precision-ground 7.9 mm diameter stainless steel for rigid support
- Cross drilled hole for tightening/loosening

Precision Ground Stainless Steel for Rigid Optic Support
TSP Series Miniature Posts are precision ground, stainless steel rod posts with a 0.313 in. (7.9 mm) diameter. Each post has a crossed drilled hole for tightening and loosening with better control using increased torque.
Cross-Drilled Hole for Easy Tightening and Loosening
Posts that are 0.75 inches and taller feature a 0.1 in. (2.5 mm) diameter cross-drilled hole below the 8-32 (M4) end. By inserting a 5/64 in. (2 mm) hex wrench (or similar tool) into this hole, it can be used to rotate the post to tighten it into or loosen it from the optical table or breadboard more easily.
